Wistful Moment

The time gone by comes not
Those moments held dear by the heart,
Therefore are those days be cherished
With colors of life be furbished.

A tender lad made his day
Molding as the child the clay,
A teenage saw fancy deep,
Deep as the song so sweet,

A youth saw coming up days of work
A journey to make and life thus to embark,
A adolescent saw tiny patter of feet on the room
Children to send school, make them groom.

A dad of dads and a fivesome kids,
Sounds at home, songs and hiss,
Though smile on face and happy good byes
Silent on the yard, lonely days.

Days of old reminds us of time had,
While growing up as a tender lad;
Days of old yet remind of passing moment
When in a rush we did foment.

Seeking out Lord

I seek in silence day in and day out,
The Lord with carols  and jingles loud,
In every walk I tread I seek the Lord
With true, divine heart.

Yet I falter to see His kingdom come,
I a true son of His tend to become,
And I envision the hereafter in my mind
To ever and ever like sun’s rays shine.

God

I thank God for mercy
For He grants me all sweetness,
He is One of beauty
And I abide by his knowledge more or less.

With His love pure and perfect
His Love that truly infects
This being with his grace
I abide by his knowledge more or less.
