Brevity, Life and Time

With our sense of proportion,
With the knowledge we possess,
     We shall never have perceived
the cruciality of this mortal form – the beauty of our life in its totality: the greatness it’s retained,
mystery unlike anything else.
      With time passing,
with our age moving forward,
       we shall have only undergone it,
Witnessed it gone through stages
         Bewildered between Time and  Space. 
               In the brains of ours, 
there will have been books unwritten,
To know, unfulfilled yearnings
Will have been added one after another,
There will have been scars left
Of Time failed to care for properly;
Repentance shan’t have cleansed our imperfect heart – there shall be 
A deep hollow at the very hub of our heart.
With transience of time,
We shall have recalled the grandeur  of being a Human,
the brevity of life, the way we acted with fellow humans,
And slowly, we shall have parted ways with each other 
To an unknown destiny.
